Our School Welcomes Parent Involvement!
Top of Page

Cesar Chavez Ravenswood Middle School recognizes the importance of parental involvement as a key factor in the success of our middle school students. There are many opportunities for parent involvement throughout the school year!

  • School Site Council (SSC):  is a collaborative team of parents, teachers, and administrators working together to support students' success and improve our school. Meetings occur once a month.

  • English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC):  comprised of parents and staff designated to advise school officials on English Learner programs and services. Meetings occur once a month.

  • Cena Con El Director/Dinner with the Principal: events are organized to foster a sense of community among our families. During these events, we share important school updates, recognize students who have achieved the "Principal's Honor Roll" and provide a space for parents to voice their concerns and ideas. Events occur 3-4 times a year.

  • Cultural Celebrations: Our families are truly at the heart of everything we do. Join us in celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of our families throughout the year.

  • Volunteer Opportunities: We welcome parents on campus to help with parking lot supervision, brunch, and lunch supervision, classroom help, and cultural celebrations. Please complete the Ravenswood Volunteer Application to get started!
